Ink, Wonderful Ink

Yesterday I sat through an hour or so of needle-induced discomfort and allowed a strange man to permanently mark my skin.
This is the result:
I love them. They're making sitting, sleeping and wearing clothes difficult, but they're worth it. They've certainly dulled my desire for more ink - for a while at least. This experience was certainly more painful than the last, but these two babies are considerably larger than my first one! The pain itself was bearable, and as I told a potential customer outside the parlour, it's a good pain, and if hurt that much, people wouldn't get them.

Oh, and this was just one part of another awesome weekend.

Did I mention I love life right now?

xx

Well these are pretty awesome, I must say. I like the idea of matching on the sides. Glad you are loving life and glad it seems everybody (including myself) is having awesome weekends

Thanks Mr O :) I love them! I'm so glad I didn't get them together in the middle, I always like to try and be a little different Hehe.
Glad to hear you had an awesome weekend too, they're the best, aren't they?

Nice tattoos, Gems! (Sorry I'm so bloody late to this post.) Sounds like you're really, really happy with your new ink, which is fantastic. Looks like they really suit you to a tee. Can I ask where you got the work done in Bris? (Always curious to find out about where people get inked!) Lots of love to you my dear - glad life is treating you well at the moment.

Thanks Girl :) I love my new ink, and yep, they suit me perfectly. I'm thinking I want to get some text between them, but just have to work out what, and what language!
All my work has been done at Valley Tattoo & Piercing in Fortitude Valley. They've got a website if you want to have a look. When I say "all" I've only got two tattos (LOL), and both times I just took in the design I wanted and they did it, but I've been happy with them there and if (okay, when!) I get inked again, I'll no doubt go there again.
